NIPITECS was established in 2013 through a collaboration between the Pipeline Professionals Association of Nigeria (PLAN) and Energy Corporate Africa (ECA), a renowned US-based organizer of energy events. The goal was simple yet powerful: to position Nigeria and Sub-Saharan Africa on the global map for pipeline infrastructure, technology, and security investment.
